Junkyard Art

Hello, Everyone! Today's featured image is, 'Junkyard Art' a photograph of an industrial object's surface that is in a decaying, rusted, peeling state, yet it looks like an abstract work of art. It is the photographic work of DL Ritter and depicts an aesthetic described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent and incomplete".

When I look at 'Junkyard Art' I see a beautiful abstract painting-like art image deserving of just-right framing.

As an Aside:

While browsing the Dolce and Gabbana site, I viewed 'The One Gentleman' fragrance campaign video because I recognized Matthew McConaughey's face on a previous page. The video's message is rather nice. Next, I scrolled down to read the copy below 'The Fragrance' and these became my favorite lines of the ad:

  • "The packaging for the one gentleman is as refined and understated as its wearer: brimming with luxurious appeal, yet relaxed and unostentatious." Dolce & Gabbana
  • "Dolce & Gabbana introduces ... ...  A new fragrance for the contemporary charmer with a spirit of dashing masculinity.  The one gentleman is the embodiment of modern elegance." Dolce & Gabbana
  • "This is a scent for the man who is courteous, ..., with an instinctive feel for chivalry. Refined elegance and cultivated ease allow him to effortlessly master any given situation. This is a man who knows who he is, hence he has nothing to prove." Dolce & Gabbana
  • "He is the Dolce&Gabbana gentleman." Dolce & Gabbana

Wow! That's impressive copy! The choice of adjectives and nouns are so key: Refined. Understated. Brimming. Luxurious Appeal. Relaxed. Unostentatious. Contemporary. Charmer. Dashing. Masculinity. Gentleman. Embodiment. Modern Elegance. Courteous. Instinctive Chivalry. Refined Elegance. Cultivated Ease. Effortlessly Master. Nothing.

One's own husband-to-be with these great qualities & more, would be a dream-come-true. And what's even better is the fact that such men really do exist, ladies! And, more guys will mature to become so.

Greatness.
