This video features the wonderful photography of Michael Crabtree. He is the owner-operator of The Crabtree Gallery in Eagle, Colorado located just west of Vail where over 100 of his fine art photography photos are displayed. Crabtree prints all of his work using Archival inks and papers and frames all of his photos in his frame shop adjacent to his gallery.
Additionally, he lives in a turn-of-the-century log cabin with his three children Jennifer (14), Sarah (11), and Mikey (9). This is the same property that his gallery and frame shop are located on. The buildings were a stage-coach stop on Old Highway 6, right on the Eagle River, just east of Eagle, CO.
Crabtree is a highly-diversified photographer known for his dynamic landscapes, abstract images and horse portraits. The horse portraits are among my favorites in this video.
He loves to shoot whatever is turning him at the moment with camera at-the-ready whenever he's out driving, turning the mundane trip into an adventure. Michael Crabtree does portrait and wedding photography, as well. Enjoy!
