Hello, Everyone! Today's featured Fashion Designer is Ying Cai of New York, New York (USA). 
Ying Cai grew up watching her mother sew, draft patterns, and do sketches for her and her families' whole wardrobe. Another fashion inspiration was her uncle's ownership of a few major clothing manufacturing facilities in south Asia that produce many lines for major designers, all over the world.

At the age of four, Cai started to draw, play music, and dance. At the age of twelve, she started professional ballet training with her coaches from the Kirov Ballet (St. Petersburg). Five years later, Cai was accepted to the Beijing Dance Academy and awarded a scholarship. Cai's nine years of studying dance gave her a great understanding of how to bring out the positive aspects of different body types (with fashion). At the same time, she understood that ballet was not for her.

In 2004, the same year she graduated from college, Ying Cai was granted a fellowship to pursue her Master of Art in the United States. During grad school, she discovered her enormous passion for, and interest in, fashion.  She decided to go to New York before graduation.

Hello, Everyone! Today's feature is a one-of-its-kind, custom-built European Chateau, nestled into five hardwood-rich acres in Brooks, Georgia.  It was designed with a historic, country-side French chateau (just beyond beautiful, picturesque La Roque Gageac in southwestern France) in mind.  I'd love to share the names of the design firms with you all.  However, at the moment, I do not know the name of the architectural, landscaping and interior design firm(s) that designed this gorgeous, stone chateau and its landscaping. When that information becomes available I will share it, here.  Please, note that all information shared in this post is believed to be reliable, yet is not guaranteed and should be independently verified.

Hello, Everyone! Today's feature is a look at the design inspiration and craftsmanship of the ceramic mosaic tile, 'Perrenial'.

'Perrenial' is a hand-made ceramic tile as it is cut, glazed and fired by hand.  This level of hand-crafting allows for a tremendous amount of expression in colors, forms and line.  'Perennial' is available in organic, geometric and custom designs.

Beautiful craftmanship; gorgeous tile designs!!  Enjoy.

Hello, Everyone! Today's feature is an introduction to the design inspiration and craftsmanship of the patterned stone tile, 'Beau Monde Rose'. I'm a fan of roses and tiles, so the Beau Monde Rose tile is a fabulous combination of these two loves.

Beau Monde tile are designed using a style inspired by the ancient mosaic art form, 'pietra dura'.  The tiles are water-jet cut and the Rose pattern is created using four different stones: crystalline pure white, cream marble, peach marble and honey onyx.  Aren't they gorgeous?!  And the artisans that create them are so talented.  Beautiful work, beautiful design!

Hello, Everyone! Today's feature is a look at the versatile 'Margaux' line of bath faucets which integrate equally well with contemporary or traditional-style bathrooms. You'll see for yourself in the video's bathroom!

The featured bathroom is exquisite and the 'Margaux' bath fixtures are among my absolute favorites in fixture design; absolutely gorgeous! I love the sleek combination of feminine curves w/ crisp masculine edges -- a marriage of design features that the lady and the man of the home will both appreciate.

Hello, Everyone! Today's feature: Designer Laura Bohn discusses her vision for this tranquil, spa-style bathroom. This bathroom does look like one in which I'd want to linger in after a rose-scented bubble-bath or shower, lounging on the chaise in a thick, luxurious terry cloth robe, reading a book, with essential-oil-scented beeswax candles burning while listening to instrumental jazz or classical music, with a snack-bowl of mixed nuts and a drizzle of raw honey on them. To say the least, this bathroom's tranquility-inducing design is inspiring!
